North on 144th St. , after the Harrison Street intersection, get in the left lane. 144th Street is a north-south street, but the street curves right before Q Street to the right into Millard Ave. It won't hurt anything if you take the curve, you will still hit Q Street and can turn left there, but it is more convenient to stay left, and go straight (staying on 144th) (I think there is a light there) and go towards the water tower to Q Street.
