Favorite sports role model
I look up to Florida quarterback, Tim Tebow. He's an amazing athlete, which was evident when he became the first sophomore to win the Heisman trophy. However, the thing I admire most about him is his ability to be well-rounded. He works as a Christian missionary with his parents in the Philippines, and even writes bible verses in his eye black on game days. He also values getting good grades and encourages teammates emphasizing, "It's important to play for something more than just the game, there has to be some greater purpose to what they do."

Who on the team makes you laugh?
I would have to say Kelly keeps me laughing the most. She always has little comments to add to every conversation to lighten the mood. I never know when to take her seriously, but there's never a dull moment that's for sure.
What do you like most about practices?
I always love coming together for our team huddle after practice. It's a constant reminder that we're more than a team; we're family. It makes all the sweat and hard work worth it.
Share a team gathering highlight?
The fake roadside creeper act we played on the new girls during kidnapping was classic. I have to admit, me pretending to be freaked out by a "roadside stop gone wrong" was my acting skills at their prime.
Best pump-up tune?
Definitely "Here comes the boom" by Nelly.
When it's time to celebrate after a game, where would you pick?
I would pick pretty much any restaurant with my family and friends. It's the perfect way to reflect on the game and have fun with the people I love.
Any superstitions or pre-game routines you believe in?
This year, I've sported the combination of baby blue and lime green prewrap in my hair each game. I also eat a pack of fruit snacks (preferably a Disney kind), and dance to Jock Jams or rock out to rap on the way to the game.
Highlight of the season thus far?
One of my favorite memories was our rave dance party with glow sticks the night of kidnapping. Haha enough said.
